Week 5

Week 5
This week I completed an assignment ( Unit 1 M3) which focused on my smart targets and areas to improve , during the time that I completed the assignment I was able to reflect on the progress I have made towards completing my smart targets. When writing assignment after completing each section I would proof read it to ensure that there weren't any accidental grammar mistakes present, and after proof reading each section I would correct the mistakes. This led to re-checking every section to ensure that there weren't any grammar mistakes still present, this proved to me how much progress I have currently made towards achieving my smart targets. Therefore the strategies which I mentioned in the previous post are working, helping me to become a more successful student. Furthermore I have noticed that these solutions have an impact on the way I work, for example I no longer have to worry about remembering important pieces of information from the brief. Due to the fact that I always have a separate piece of paper next to me with every piece of essential information from the brief, in order to ensure that I don't forget anything. Therefore reducing the amount of time needed to complete an assignment, this has led to creation of some other minor areas to improve that I created during the time when I was completing the assignment I mentioned earlier. These areas to improve are: leadership skills, time management, paying attention to every detail and identify personal weaknesses. These are secondary targets which I would like to improve if I have time to, the smart targets are my first priority to achieve. However if I reach a level at which I am satisfied that I have achieved my smart targets I will consider improving these areas, because I believe that it would be beneficial if I could improve some of these areas. Currently my goals are to continue working on my smart targets to perfect them, I would like to reach a point where I can  use them without having to force myself to.
